Youth
Burn is the student ministry of the Church of God of Landisville. It takes its name from our mission to help the hearts of young people burn for God. Our goal is to help kids fall passionately in love with Jesus Christ and then become authentic disciples, serving as leaders and influencers of their generation for God.
The foundation of Burn is our Wednesday youth worship gathering. It meets in our MPR (Multipurpose Room) from 6:30-8:00 pm. High school and junior high students are welcome. Each evening has games, teaching, God stories from the kids, encourage and awesome worship. We have our own band made up of BURN kids who share their musical gifts for God.
During the school year our student leaders help staff Ignite the Day, an on campus Bible study and worship at Hempfield High School. This is at 7:00 am Wednesdays.
In addition we have lock-ins, retreats, service projects, nights for worship, mission trips, and small group Bible studies throughout the year. A winter retreat at Paradise Lake in January, a trip to the Church Family Retreat in May and Creation Festival in June are among the highlights of our program.
