TNT - A Dynamite Opportunity!

Tuesday nights this fall will have a powerful emphasis for persons desiring to grow in Christ.  TNT - Tuesday Night Teaching will feature three elective studies.  Beginning Tuesday evening, September 11th, at 7:00 pm, we will offer a choice of Bible study, Ministry Development Institute course or in-depth discipleship study.

-  - At the 8:00 pm hour, A Few Good Men, Pastor Barry Sellers (see details below)

CHILD CARE/NURSERY IS OFFERED EACH EVENING FROM 7:00-8:00 PM. 

 

Study Groups

A Few Good Men   Dave Cramer, Randy Lefever, and Pastor Barry Sellers lead this Bible study, including prayer and support of each other. (Tuesdays, 8:00-9:00 PM.)

Bible Study w/ Pastor Barry   Resuming the in-depth study and discussion of The Book of Hebrews.  Then moving on to Nehemiah – Lessons in Leadership. (Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 PM.)

Girls of Grace   A daytime women’s group focusing on Bible study, prayer and support, led by Donna Crosby and Laurie Brown. The fall study will be "The Fruit of the Spirit," a Life Guide Bible study. (Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:00 AM. (Child care is provided.)

Men’s Early Bible Study  A Men’s bible study currently focusing on Proverbs. Led by Pastor Steve, the group meets at the Silver Spring Restaurant. (Tuesday mornings, 7:00-8:00 AM.)

 

Ministry Groups

Adult Choir   Sings at the 8:15 AM Worship Service and for various other special services. Ability to read music is helpful, but not necessary. Please see Gaye Rock if interested.  (Wednesdays, 7:15-8:30 PM.)

Agape Center  Outreach ministry for the youth of the church and of the community. Various supervised activities occur at the Agape Center, including sports, biblical studies and social activities. (Mondays 3:00-5:00 PM for grades 5-8 and Thursdays 3:00-5:00 PM for grades 9-12.)

Children’s Choir  A singing group for school age children. Children will sing in both Sunday worship services on the 4th Sunday of each month. Dianne Dunn is the group leader. (Rehearsal every Wednesday 6:00-7:00 PM (classroom 2 downstairs.)

Community Meals  Volunteers are needed every other month to provide food, prepare and serve meals to those in need at Christ Lutheran Church in Lancaster. (4th Wednesday to prepare & 4th Thursday to serve every other month.)

FLOW  Fellowship, Learning, Outreach and Worship) – This group focuses on the needs of people aged 55+. A team plans the programs and prepares the meals for the monthly meetings of FLOW. (3rd Tuesdays 10:00 AM with preparation on 3rd Mondays 4:00 PM.)

Food Bank Delivery   Bags of food are taken from the food bank at the church of the Apostles and delivered to the food distribution center on North Marshall Street, Lancaster.  (2nd and 5th Mondays.)

Grateful Gardeners Val Albright leads a group of gardeners to implement/maintain a meditation garden at the church, to be an outreach gardening group, and to maintain the church gardening grounds.  (1st and 3rd Mondays, 8:00-10:00 AM.)

Praise Team for 10:45 Worship     A musical worship group that leads the 10:45 AM Sunday Worship Service. See Pastor Dan Knight if interested in participating.   (Tuesdays, 7:15-8:15 PM.)

 

Fellowship and Support Groups

Kingdom Prayers A devotional and prayer group focusing on the church, community, nation and the world and their leaders. Led by Nancy Reitz and Sam Ruggiero.

Prayer Gathering A biweekly informal worship and prayer service for persons of the church and the community.

Parents Prayer Meeting   An informal prayer group of parents that meet to pray for their children. Contact Dr. Steve. (4th Tuesday of each month, 6.30-7.30 PM.)

Team Kids   A fellowship group for children in grades 1-4 led by Lisa Kilgore and Laurie Rogers. (1st and 3rd Sundays, 6:00-7:30 PM.)

Sole Fuel Student Ministries   A fellowship group for children in grades 5-8. Led by Pastor Dan, Joe and Lisa Kilgore, Steve and Joyce Rogers and John Cooper. They meet twice a month. (2nd and 4th Sundays 6:00-7:30 PM.)
