Study Groups

A Few Good Men   Pastor Barry is currently leading this Bible study, which includes prayer and support of each other. Meets at the church in Room 109.  The Book of Revelation is the current topic. (Tuesdays, 8:00-9:00 PM.)

Seeking Him  Dianne Dunn leads an in-depth study of growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Study includes a work book.  Meets in Room 106 at the church.  (Wednesdays biweekly, 6:30-8:00 pm)

Men’s Early Bible Study  A Men’s bible study currently focusing on 2 Corinthians. Led by Dr. Steve, the group meets at the Silver Spring Restaurant. (Tuesday mornings, 7:00-8:00 AM.)

Christianity 101  A study group for people new to Christianity or people who are seeking to renew their relationship with Christ.  Led by Dr. Steve, this meets periodically.  Call the church for times and dates.

 Ministry Groups

Community Meals  Volunteers are needed every other month to provide food, prepare and serve meals to those in need at Christ Lutheran Church in Lancaster. (4^th Wednesday to prepare & 4^th Thursday to serve every other month.)

FLOW  Fellowship, Learning, Outreach and Worship) – This group focuses on the needs of people aged 55+. A team plans the programs and prepares the meals for the monthly meetings of FLOW. (3^rd Tuesdays 10:00 AM with preparation on 3^rd Mondays 4:00 PM.)

Grateful Gardeners Val Albright leads a group of gardeners to implement/maintain a meditation garden at the church, to be an outreach gardening group, and to maintain the church gardening grounds.  (1^st and 3^rd Mondays, 8:00-10:00 AM.)

Worship Band     A musical worship group that leads the 10:45 AM Sunday Worship Service. See Nick Koppenal or Rich Holmberg if interested in participating.   (Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 PM.)

Adult Choir led by Bill Stine. Provides music at 815 traditional service.  (Thursdays at 7:00 pm)

 Fellowship and Support Groups

The Agape Center  See the link. Directed by Karen Haldeman.

Preschool Gym A play program for preschoolers and their mothers led by Lisa Kilgore and Sherri Young.  Meets in MPR. (Wednesdays, 10:00-11:00 am)

Kingdom Prayers A devotional and prayer group focusing on the church, community, nation and the world and their leaders. Led by Nancy Reitz and Sam Ruggiero.  Meets in Room 109. (Tuesdays, 6:30-7:00 pm.)

Agape Kids  A fun and fellowship group for elementary age kids led by Lisa Kilgore, Pastor Ernest Green and others.  Meets in the MPR. (2^nd and 4^th Fridays, 6:00-8:00 pm)

J(esus) Team  A fellowship group for preschoolers led by Lisa Kilgore and Sherri Young. Meets in Room 109.  (2^nd and 4^th Sundays, 6:00-7:30pm)

Team Kids   A fellowship group for children in grades 1-4 led by Lisa Kilgore,  Laurie Rogers and Pastor Ernest Green (1^st and 3^rd Sundays, 6:00-7:30 PM.)

Burn and afterBurn   This is our discipleship ministry for Junior Highs and Senior Highs.  Led by Jeremy Moyer. Meets in Agape Center. (Sundays and Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm)

PEP – (Parents Encouraging Parents) A learning and support group for parents. .  Led by Dr. Steve and our Christian Ed staff, meeting Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm in Room 109. Nursery care is provided.
