In keeping with our creed "Serving the Community Where the Spirit Leads", the purpose of this conference is to provide training for churches - pastors, ministry staffs, and lay leadership who are interested in developing an outreach-focused church with an evangelistic heart.
The format is 2 days of speakers, breakout sessions (workshops), displays, and worship, to help educate and motivate churches along this theme. (This format is used generally as a way of increasing involvement and providing an in-depth training time, as well as allowing networking time among the people from other churches.)
Day 1 will be for more in-depth training and will have a smaller number of participants
Day 2 will "stand alone" and will seek to involve a broader range of participants.

Keynote Speakers
Dr. David Draper is the President of Winebrenner Theological Seminary and a passionate communicator of practical, biblical leadership. Prior to coming to the seminary, Dave was a high school teacher, served small rural churches in Maryland and Ohio, editor of The Church Advocate, and General Conference Director. Linda is a doctoral candidate at Ashland Theological Seminary and a life-long prayer warrior and gifted retreat leader. She, too, taught school and also served as Editor of The Church Advocate.
Dr. Steve Dunn is the Lead (Senior) Pastor of the Church of God of Landisville. Prior to Landisville he served as denominational Associate for Leadership, denominational Director of Youth Ministry, and pastorates in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana. His doctoral thesis was “Fanning Into Flame … Understandings and Strategies to Implement a Spiritual DNA of Outreach in a Local Church.” He is past President of the General Conference and currently chairman of the Commission on Evangelism of the Eastern Regional Conference.
